How to disable caching on DynamicNodeProvider

I have created a class derived from DynamicNodeProviderBase. Everything is working beautifully, except I don't want to cache the actual sitemap using the CacheDescription, as the raw data I am using to build the nodes is cached elsewhere.

I figured if I simply did not override CacheDescription, that caching would not take place. However, that seems to be wrong. The sitemap itself is still being cached. My data layer is not even being hit after the first request to sitemap.xml.

Is there a default caching value of some kind hard-coded into the .dll? Is there any way to disable caching so I can handle it myself?

The actual value caching is done by ASP.NET's sitemapprovider implementation, MvcSiteMapProvider is just leveraging that. There is no option to turn off this behaviour.
